From the beginning, GPC has focused on providing its customers with quality products and swift, reliable service. The company has grown organically and through acquisitions, including the addition of Motion Industries, a leading industrial distributor, in 1976.

Today, Genuine Parts Company is a global service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts with approximately 58,000 employees and over 10,000 operations in 17 countries across North America, Europe and Australasia.

The renowned industrial parts distributor, GPC, sought a career website for their global auto parts network. The objective was to showcase their dominant position in the industry while preserving their empathetic ethos.

The Approach

GPC needed a site that represents their best-in-class business solutions and stands out amongst the competition, while staying true to their origins. They know firsthand what stakeholders & customers need,

and created quality products and swift, reliable service. We knew a compelling career site would help GPC continue their performance and value within the recruitment market.

Breakdown

For the interactive experience, I applied GPC’s fresh new visual identity to their existing website content. I made careful choices to showcase the credibility and the empathy of GPC in equal measure. Photography featuring real GPC employees helps to make the site feel more friendly, approachable, and authentic.

Bold hexagon illustrations throughout GPC's website, reminiscent of the original GPC mark.. I reserved the "Honey Mustard" yellow as a pop of color that helps to draw the user's attention to key calls to action.
