The Mora brand name may be new to you, but the commitment to quality and performance has stood the test of time. Mora’s tradition of excellence has remained unchanged since our founding, nearly 200 years ago.

That’s why today, more than ever before, Mora is proud to embrace the latest advances in technology with innovative features designed to make life easier and better for families, every day.

Setting course for the future, Mora needed a brand that distinguished them as the true pioneer of kitchen appliances.

The Approach

There have been notable changes in both the industry and the homes of our esteemed customers. The MORA brand has always been associated with excellence, and now, as they make their entry into the US market, it became crucial to overhaul their

current identity to embody the true essence of MORA: a blend of scholarly, cutting-edge, and professional characteristics. The ultimate objective was to craft an experience that deeply connects with the consumers they proudly cater to.

Breakdown

While researching and exploring marks, I discovered a powerful concept and metaphor for Mora: full of life, right at home. We began with a content strategy, creating an information structure for an established company without using language suggesting "launching" or "introducing." I collaborated with Mora on sitemaps and wireframes, refining them before

starting the design process. Working closely with their team, we developed copy and content. Ribbon-inspired illustrations and patterns add movement and refinement to the Mora experience. Secondary color pops highlight elements and guide users through the hierarchy.
